Our chicks were growing fast and needed a bigger coop, the Lodge shipped quickly and my husband and I were able to put it together in a little less than 2 hours. It’s perfect and very nice looking. My only complaint would be that there was some damage that occurred during shipping. The mesh siding has a hole and one of the wood sides was cracked. We were able to repair both ourselves because we didn’t have time to ship back.

Great coop. I’m so glad I found The States Chicken Coopinstead of buying a cheaply made unit from a retailer. I purchased this for 4 hens and they have plenty of space. High quality materials, well made, and all nontoxic. It was easy to put together (helpful to have 2 people putting it together; it took my husband and I about 45 minutes) I love that it is already weatherproofed. Arrived quickly and in good shape. My poor chickens spent their first night outdoors in a snowstorm, but they were just fine in this coop. Only one suggestion – the ramp is a bit steep and I ended up having to prop the end up on a brick to get my chickens to use it. Thanks!
